Today i going to reveal to you a secret that i used to get more customer going to your saloon.
Business salon is a very complicated thing. If you are a newbies in hair business, you will face a lot of problem. Most of them is come from the number of customer cut their hair at your places. I've been around 5 years now doing hair business. Within this 5 years, a faces a lot of problem while doing the business. But most of problems happen when i get started. It seem like the business is so slow. Just a little number of customers comes to cut their hair at my saloon. This is not right for me as i do a business i want many customer come.
When you are newbies, that's mean you are new in the business and no one will go to your saloon. It is simply because they don't know you yet. Unless you are the famous guys from that place, got a lot of friend and family where they are supported you in whatever you do and then you are not alone in the business. But for how long they will supported you? Only you got the answers. As for my cases, i depend on non-know-people as my customer. So, i have to work hard to tackle those people. It is hard to influence the stranger at the beginning to cut hair at my place. It is hard for me to promoting my hair saloon to people. So, if you are at my place "WHAT WOULD YOU DO?"
Here i want to REVEALED to you what i have done to get success and get more customers to my saloon.
- Face The Truth - You need to know that,
business is like the roller coaster. Sometime its up and sometimes it
going down. So you need to face this truth. No one in the world of
business, not facing the difficulty first. The difficulty makes you stronger.
When you start facing the truth about business, it will make you patient
and make you to think what you can do to get more customers. You will have
to use your brain more to think and think and think what you should do.
So, face the truth.
- Location location location
- This
is the most important in the business. When your location is good, it will
make easier to do a business. So, how to choose the location in hair
business? Let me tell you how. The good location (on my opinion) is the
where there are so many people comes there. Example is "The Shopping
Complex". As long as it is shopping complex, it is good to make the
business there. It is because there are so many people going to the
shopping complex every day. So as my logic, the shopping complex customer
is also your customer. In my opinion, the customer conversion is like 10
people walk through your saloon, 2 will cut their hair. (This conversion
only valid at shopping complex). So you don't need to worry about
customer. They will cut their hair with you even though they do not know
you. Another thing about location is you need to get the ground floor for
your saloon @ barbershop. This is also very important. As for me, i will
consider this as a priority because it’s very easy to influence customer
to go to your saloon if it on the ground floor.
- Cut At Your Best As You Can
- This
is also important. The best hairstylist will almost win in the heart of
the customer. You need to cut the customer hair as beautiful as you can.
Make their hair look beautiful. Show your skill to the customer. Cut it
like what customer wanted it too. Make the customer feeling that he/she
always right. When you win the customer heart by your cutting, he/she will
tell others to cut their hair at your place. That is happening to our
saloon where one person cut, bring 10 more customer. Can you see how good we
are in the hair business?.
- Your Attitude Must Be Right
- With
the right attitude, it will make you easier to remember. What does it mean
with right attitude? OK, that mean, you going to be nice to the customer.
The process begins from the beginning the customer comes until they step
out from the saloon. From the start, you must greet the customer nicely to
make he/she feels so comfortable. Ask them nicely to sit at the chair.
Call them a boss where they are really our boss because they pay you. Then
cut their hair as best as you can. And after finish, say thank you and the
most important thing before they leave, please make sure to tell them this
"COME AGAIN AND TELL YOUR FRIEND TO CUT HAIR HERE". By repeating
this attitude, will make your saloon the winning people choice saloon. I
almost guarantee it.
- Be Talkative But
Don't Over Active - While you are cutting the customer, you need
to be talkative. This is the must if you want that customer to come back.
But don't to over in making a talk. Talk about something good or something
that happen in the world or at your place. You also must make the customer
to talk to you to. If it seems that the customer doesn’t want to talk,
don't force them to talk to you. OK. Respect your customer. At our case,
the most hairstylist talk to customer, he win the most customer.
